How to stop update of Acrobat Reader

Step 1) Open Notepad as Administrator.
Step 2) Open the Hosts File:
In Notepad, go to File > Open.
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open the hosts file.
Step 3) Block Adobe Servers:
Add these lines at the bottom:
127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 na2m-pr.licenses.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 na4r.services.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ims-na1.adobelogin.com
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
Step 4) Save the File:
Go to File > Save.

Step 5) Flush DNS (Optional):
Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Run this command:
ipconfig /flushdns
